The Muslim Students' Association is as vibrant as the Waterloo campus itself. We offer many services such as jumah prayers, halaqas (study circles), on-campus iftars, several social events, an annual Islam awareness week and much more. 1. Welcome BBQ
Have
a fun and tasty start to your time in our Muslim community by attending
our Welcome BBQ. It will give you the opportunity to meet new people
while enjoying our activities. Also be sure to RSVP to receive a FREE
frosh kit that we are filling with some useful items, including a handy

3. Welcome Dinner
Come
join us for a delicious meal at our Welcome Dinner. You will meet and
socialize with other first year students and several upper year students
as well. There will be an information session to look forward to, with
tips and tricks to survive your first year from those that have been

4. Lecture Event
Stay
tuned for details on this engaging talk to be delivered specially for
first years. This talk is aimed to provide first years with the
necessary tools to make the right choices in university. It would also
help the first year students become visionaries, to inspire them to set
lofty goals, and retain confidence with their Muslim identity all the

MSA Frequently Asked Questions
Many new Muslim students will be attending Orientation Week 2011. from Monday September 5th until Saturday September 10th. We've compiled a large list of common questions and concerns students have during their first few weeks. Questions include: Where do I find prayer spaces? What sort of activities does the MSA hold? Where can I find Halal food?
