So why me?
Because I keep my mouth shut and my ears open. I’m here to be your voice on the executive team along with taking on the responsibility of a secretary. But that’s not all. I want to get as involved as I can be so I can promote and benefit, and InshAllah help all of you benefit too, from the opportunities of enhancing our Imaan and Taqwa through the MSA.

| Brief Statement |
The treasurer must have vision, organisation skills, creativity, and a lot of passion for MSA. The role should go beyond dealing with the club finances and should also encompass taking initiative in raising funds and designing funding proposals for MSA events, and also for causes that other Muslims feel passionately about. Acting on Br. Amaan's idea, if I get elected, I would like to push for a fundraising committee under the treasurer, which will leave the other executives to focus more effectively on their individual duties.

Anyone who knows me well knows that when I commit to something, I try my best to do it well. The Best of Creation (peace and blessings be upon his soul) told us that Allah loves for us to act in the best way with excellence. He (sall’Allahu `alayhi wa sallam) also informed us that the ones closest to Allah and His Beloved are those that serve and benefit others. This is my goal and intention insha’Allah. I felt that I productive executive member last Spring. I was also a key player to the two speakers we had. |
